This sculptural piece is composed of the following: the actual door that cannot open, the black hole that looks like a peephole in a door is actually a tiny camera, and the monitor that shows the view of the camera.  Furthermore, the telephone repeats the voice recording, “OPEN, OPEN PLEASE, PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR.” As the peephole refers, the door is the front door, and it is the view from inside the house. In Korea, almost every house has an "interphone," which allows them to see someone outside their front door on a screen or even talk to someone outside their door. Accordingly, if you see this in terms of the screen and the telephone is  the interphone, this means you're at home, but another you visits your home and tells you to open the door. Actually, this is a metaphor that imprinted memories pop up randomly, and the only way to solve this problem is by opening the door and getting used to it. So, stop shutting the door, but rather open it—ready to welcome your intruder.
